North-Chiang Mai University Provides Real-World Learning Experience for Aviation Business and Tourism Management Students through Study Visit to an International-Standard Hotel
On August 5, 2026, the Aviation Business and Tourism Management Program, Faculty of Business Administration, North-Chiang Mai University, organized a study visit for first- to fourth-year students at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai. The visit provided students with an opportunity to learn directly from a real-world hospitality environment and gain first-hand experience in service operations and international hotel standards.
During the study visit, Lecturer Waranyu Yusoontrong, Head of the Aviation Business and Tourism Management Program, led the students in attending a presentation on hotel operations and general information about the resort. Students also participated in a learning session on housekeeping and bed-making procedures, enabling them to gain a better understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and operational processes of departments involved in guest room services.
In addition, students toured guest rooms and various service areas within the resort, allowing them to observe actual hotel operations and learn about service practices that emphasize quality and internationally recognized standards.
The study visit forms part of North-Chiang Mai University’s commitment to promoting experiential learning. The activity broadened students’ perspectives on careers in the hospitality industry, connected classroom knowledge with real-world practices, and enhanced essential professional skills.
Through such learning experiences, the University aims to prepare students to become highly capable professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required for successful careers in the aviation, tourism, and hospitality industries.
